This is Mughal art at its finest and presented just for you.
Custom crafted and featuring an exquisite antique finish, this artwork is bound to add an instant flair to your home decor. It will grace any room with its unique blend of elegance and natural beauty.
The superb artwork captures the Mughal emperor and his entourage conducting business in the royal durbar (court). The emperor has also been presented with a gift of a bird of prey.
The magnificent representation of the emperor, his courtiers and the floral portrait on the back is hand painted on eco-friendly faux ivory with opaque watercolors. The material used in the artwork has the look of antique ivory but is actually faux ivory that is “aged” with acrylic paint and sealed with a matte finish, giving the piece a wonderful distressed look. The whole process is very labor intensive and painstakingly achieved.
Keeping with the tradition of such art the back of the plate is also painted with a beautiful floral object. This concept was introduced by the British in 19th century India.
Don’t miss out on this rare Mughal artwork. Order today.
